A Reflection of Perfection with Deb almond
Have you ever been told that the vulva is a beautiful, sacred, and pleasure-centric organ but struggled to relate this to your own vulva? Maybe you were told the polar opposite and are still recovering. This workshop is about the reconciliation of the messages we've received and how they resonate with the relationship we actually have with this most vital body part. Each participant receives a handmirror that we paint to create the life-affirming frame around our vulva that we wish to see. There are no rules or restrictions, the only requirement is a desire to feel more love, grace, and respect than you might already have for the almighty vulva.
So you want to write a book - from first draft to published copy with Kim narby
In this presentation I will walk you through the steps and options for getting a book published. We will start with drafting - how to come up with an idea for a book, what types of education you can get for writing (and how you can self-teach), and how to ensure your book is ready to be submitted to agents and publishers. Then we will review how to find a literary agent (if that’s something you want!), and the different options for publishing your book. We will review what a typical publishing timeline looks like, and discuss the realities of book advances. This presentation will focus mostly on novels and the more traditional publishing path (through one of the Big Five or larger indie publishers), but will include information that is relevant to self-publishing and non-fiction as well. The presentation will include some workshop time to brainstorm ideas for stories, as well as a Q&A at the end. It would be helpful to have something to write with, but I will also have some pens and paper to pass out to those who need it.
Writing Heartbreak: A Generative Creative Nonfiction Workshop with Mia arias tsang
Heartbreak is devastating, painful, and transformative, and it can often feel uniquely isolating. Women in particular are culturally denigrated for writing about their romantic relationships, despite the universality of the experience. Through designed prompts and short readings from Chloé Caldwell, Melissa Febos, Carmen Maria Machado, and more, we will explore the complex emotions that accompany a broken heart and release them together through language.

- Journaling and creative exercises exploring life curation
- Partnered touch exercises
- Collaborative sharing of ideas, dreams, and practices for curating more intentional and spacious lives

Sacred Self-Vow Ceremony with Heather
“By marrying myself, I marry my light and my dark. I bring together all parts of myself, including the parts I do not find easy.” -Sasha Cagen
In the spring of 2020, Heather called off a wedding to another person—and instead married herself. Surrounded by friends, she made vows to never abandon herself and to put her own well-being first. This offering is an invitation for you to do the same.
We will gather to honor the most important relationship you will ever have—the one with yourself. Through guided meditation and journaling, you’ll have space to write your own vows or vow renewals—promises to love, respect, and care for yourself through all seasons of life. Those who wish will be invited to share their vows in a supportive circle of women.
As part of this sacred ritual, you may choose to gift yourself a symbolic token—such as a piece of jewelry, a special stone, or another sacred item—to carry as a daily reminder of your promises.
This is a time for radical self-love, deep listening, and a celebration of the lifelong commitment to never abandon yourself.
Wild One’s Open Mic
Since the very first Women of the Wild gathering, our open mic has been a beloved tradition—a space where voices, creativity, and courage come alive. Participants are invited to share anything that feels authentic: poetry, songs, stories, dances, skits, prayers, meditations—whatever is ready to be witnessed.
If you’re a performer, bring your instrument or your favorite piece. If you’ve never stepped onto a stage but have always felt a quiet longing to share, this is your moment. Our open mic is the most loving and supportive stage you’ll ever find—a place to be fully seen, to try something new, and to be celebrated simply for showing up as you are.
