The Body as Compass: Resilience Through Hormone + Nervous System Wisdom with Ashley Shrader

This workshop will explore the powerful connection between the hormone and nervous systems, and how restoring balance in these systems supports energy, clarity, and emotional regulation. Through the lens of functional medicine and nervous system regulation tools, we’ll explore evidence-informed strategies to support resilience—both physiologically and emotionally.

Participants will leave with accessible tools, daily practices, and a deeper understanding of how to listen to their bodies as a source of insight and direction.

A Beauty Ritual of Sisterhood with Eyliana Gibson

Join Eyliana for Crowning Glory, a sacred and celebratory beauty ritual rooted in connection, care, and community. This immersive workshop invites women and femmes of all backgrounds to slow down, honor the body, and reconnect with ancestral and contemporary traditions of crown tending.

Together, we will engage in practices that celebrate the beauty and significance of our hair, our adornment, and our bonds with one another. Through the rituals of braiding, oiling, and decorating our crowns, we honor not only our personal stories but the lineage of women who came before us.

Guided in a nurturing, affirming space, we will:

• Tend to the crown: Learn nourishing scalp and hair care rituals that center self-love and ancestral wisdom.

• Braid with intention: Explore the history and symbolism of braiding while sharing and receiving styles with one another.

• Adorn the self: Play with beads, flowers, fabric, and jewelry to express your unique beauty and creativity.

• Celebrate sisterhood: Reflect, share, and hold space in circle, honoring the power of community and collective care.

This experience is about more than beauty — it’s about being seen, celebrated, and held. Leave feeling grounded, glowing, and connected.

All textures, identities, and levels of experience are welcome. Bring your whole self — and maybe a scarf, a story, or an offering.

RESONATE SOUND CEREMONY with Eyliana Gibson

The Resonate Sound Ceremony is a sacred symphony, weaving together Tibetan brass, alchemy and quartz crystal singing bowls, voice and drums; as well as other consecrated shamanic instruments, to take you or your group on an immersive anodyne journey. This enchanting experience recalibrates the whole body and the energy of the sentient form shifts into higher, expanded states of consciousness. Upon completion, you'll feel a sense of deep relaxation, calm and experience restorative healing.

The A’s of Art and Activism with Sofía Carbone

The A’s of Art and Activism is an introduction to creating social justice art that seeks to transform hearts and grow community. Workshop participants do not have to be self identified artists or feel like they need to have perfected an art or social justice form. All are welcome to discover and explore!

After receiving an overview of how art and activism work together and insight into the A’s of art and activism, workshop participants will be led through a guided meditation to help them connect with their art medium and cause they care about. Workshop participants will break into groups with people who share interest in their same cause/ social justice issue and together, they will support one another in identifying their A’s of art and activism.

The hope is that each workshop participant has a foundation to build their art project once they arrive home after the retreat, as well as stay connected with others from their breakout session for accountability and collaboration.

Workshop participants will need to bring: something to write with and write on and/ or a device to record voice notes in liu of writing.

Sacred Self-Vow Ceremony with Heather

“By marrying myself, I marry my light and my dark. I bring together all parts of myself, including the parts I do not find easy.” -Sasha Cagen

In the spring of 2020, Heather called off a wedding to another person—and instead married herself. Surrounded by friends, she made vows to never abandon herself and to put her own well-being first. This offering is an invitation for you to do the same.

We will gather to honor the most important relationship you will ever have—the one with yourself. Through guided meditation and journaling, you’ll have space to write your own vows or vow renewals—promises to love, respect, and care for yourself through all seasons of life. Those who wish will be invited to share their vows in a supportive circle of women.

As part of this sacred ritual, you may choose to gift yourself a symbolic token—such as a piece of jewelry, a special stone, or another sacred item—to carry as a daily reminder of your promises.

This is a time for radical self-love, deep listening, and a celebration of the lifelong commitment to never abandon yourself.

Wild One’s Open Mic

Since the very first Women of the Wild gathering, our open mic has been a beloved tradition—a space where voices, creativity, and courage come alive. Participants are invited to share anything that feels authentic: poetry, songs, stories, dances, skits, prayers, meditations—whatever is ready to be witnessed.

If you’re a performer, bring your instrument or your favorite piece. If you’ve never stepped onto a stage but have always felt a quiet longing to share, this is your moment. Our open mic is the most loving and supportive stage you’ll ever find—a place to be fully seen, to try something new, and to be celebrated simply for showing up as you are.
