Catherine Donalley was born in China and recently moved to the Washington D.C. area 2 months ago from Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from the University of South Florida with her BA in Interpreting. Shortly after, Catherine was accepted by Sorenson VRS Interpreting Institute’s School-to-Work program. After graduating from VRSII, she decided to move from Florida to Utah and began her growth as an interpreter there. Catherine began her passion and practice for yoga 2 years ago. Since her discovery on this journey, she has gained insight that yoga is less about flexibility, and more about spiritual connectivity and mindfulness which feeds the body and soul. Her favorite quote is “Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment.”

My name is Sarah, I am entering my second year in the interpreting program at Gallaudet university. I am excited for this retreat and interpreting opportunity; from the moment I first learned about this conference I was so excited because it sounds like something I would love to participate in. I've been camping regularly since I was very young and I love to be out in nature. Currently I enjoy organizing hikes for my friend group.
As a little intro about me! I typically am a little reserved and quiet, I like to observe before I speak my mind. I absolutely love the atmosphere and fast-paced feeling of DC, but I'm excited to have a quiet relaxing weekend to get myself to a good state mentally and physically. I love to read and spend one on one time with people.
